Peter Schmidt

Peter Schmidt has been a passionate and dedicated Safety Professional for almost 30 years. He graduated from the Academy of Safety and Administration in Hennef, Germany in 1993. He worked for the German Federal Worker’s Compensation Insurance in accident investigation before moving to the US in June of 1997. From 1997 to 2001 he was the Safety Director of a large mechanical contractor in the Twin Cities. In 2001 he became a Safety Consultant for various construction companies, from underground utilities to roofing and everything in-between. Peter started safety consulting for Allweather Roof in 2002 before becoming the full time Safety Director in 2016. Peter is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor since 1997 and holds the CHST accreditation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
